Client Question and Answer Sessions

Last update: April 20, 2020

Don’t get me wrong, we have to eat too. But some things should be free, including the contents of this blog.

At CoConsulting, we understand the value of information, open and honest communication, and setting a stable foundation. We have taken the liberty of compiling some of our clients most frequently asked questions, and shared it with you.

Why do this?

  • Transparency matters
  • Enter introductory meetings empowered
  • We believe in the “each one teach one” method

Over time, professionally relevant questions from a variety of sources were asked and compiled. In an effort to maximize billable hours at kickoff, we have published the following responses to these questions.

To get started, here are a few preliminary questions and answers:

  • Why choose the name CoConsulting? We pride ourselves in the ability to work collaboratively across all spectrums of business and within the confines of legally binding relationships. Unofficial, CoConsulting in its extended iteration, would be Collaborative Consulting. Bonus: now you know, we like to keep things very simple!
  • Where are you located? CoConsulting is headquartered in the Southern regions of New Castle County, Delaware. Townsend is a small rural community, geographically positioned between the Town of Middletown and the Town of Smyrna. Examining the bigger picture; clients, employees, partners, and networking bandwidth extends across multiple State lines.
  • What is Modus Operandi (MO) and why do you reference it so frequently? Modus Operandi is Latin for a specific method of doing something or operating, particularly a process that is characteristic or well-established.

  • Do you volunteer your services or provide opportunities for others to volunteer? The answer is a big yes! We are motivated by a big heart and an unrelenting desire to uplift underserved populations. It is through a passion for volunteerism that CoConsulting was birthed. Having provided countless volunteer hours to small businesses and soon-to-be entrepreneurs, a large scale need was identified. Leveraging CoConsulting’s reach, we have expanded volunteer opportunities and given back thousands of non-billable hours (and counting) to the community. Helping individuals and businesses maximize their potential in the arts, healthcare industry, sports arena, and veterans community, among others.
  • How do you measure success and can you guarantee it? First and foremost, success is achieved when goals and objectives are aligned with clearly defined scope and vision. CoConsulting works with clients to establish these foundational elements, flush out desired and realistic expectations, and strive towards meeting common goals.
  • What is your payment structure, or how often do you expect to be paid? CoConsulting provides expert service in response to urgent business needs, utilizing resources from a pool of knowledgeable and established vendors. Therefore, the payment structure for each new contractual agreement varies immensely depending on the uniqueness and complexity of a project. For each project proposal presented to clients, a detailed budget and pricing structure are included for accurate and transparent accounting. Payment schedules are identified and settled during contract negotiations. Typically, invoices are generated monthly for services performed in pursuit of predetermined deliverables. Full payment is due in net 30 days. Deviations from the general expectations are addressed as needed.

Now that the preliminaries are out of the way, let’s get down to business. How can we help?
